A record year for a Polish company in the space sector. Will supply as many as 10 products to ESA

At the end of April, the company handed over a second test device for European satellitesoin meteorological. By the end of the year, it will provide m.in.: solutions for probes, ktora will explore Jupiter, more systems to test satellitesow and test environments for the space-based receiveroin navigational.

The device handed over to ESA in late April will be used mainlyownie for the testoin the avionics of European satellitesoin MetOp-SG meteorological. This is the second of the targeted 4 devices for this program. In February, a Warsaw-based company donated a second instrument for European satellitesoin telecommunications Eurostar Neo. However, this is not the end of the company’s plans for this year.

– The current year promises to be very fruitful for us, as we plan to deliver the most productow for the European Space Agency in the history of our eight-year activity,” said Jacek Mandas, President of Astri Poland. – We plan to hand over test equipment for m.in.: JUICE probes, ktora will explore Jupiter, more devices for satellitesoIn Eurostar Neo and MetOp-SG, as well as a system for optical validation of headoof the Sentinel-5 mission’s sensor. We are pleased to be able to carry out more and more project for ESAoin – he related.

This year, the company will also provide ESA with navigation and satellite application solutions. – At the moment, we are in the process of testingow of the AGGA-4 radiation chip, whichory will be used in navigation receivers on satellites and launchers. We plan to complete the tests within a few months. By the end of the year, we will also hand over a test environment for the receiver to ESAoin satellite navigation for space applications. – mentioned Karol Brzostowski, Head of Satellite Applications and Services at Astri Poland. – In the field of satellite applications, we are finalizing the EO4EP project, under which weorego we will provide services for remote monitoring of ice on the mainlandoin Poland’s rivers – added.

Each of the productsoin provided to ESA is the result of months of work by highly qualified engineersow, working for a Polish company. Astri Poland’s solutions are used in leading missions of the European Space Agency.
